got a stunning 3 Gucci Shoes on a great Gucci Handbags show

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

I think the story I heard was that some guy who was working there stole the tapes from them, but who knows…?

It is a great Gucci Handbags show. About 30 minutes was broadcast back in the day and was traded for years, but the full show is really essential for any Sabs fan and has been easily attainable for about five years now.
I also heard that there were three BS shows that that Biscuit recorded. And only one of them leaked.

At any rate, I doubt KBFH handed a fan an advance of that show just to be nice.

About the same time or slightly before the Gods gave us that killer Sab double, several other things leaked out of the Biscuit. Mixed versions of shows with no anouncer/commercial voice/over added. All the 1978 Stones shows from the Biscuit vaults were liberated and issued as a 4CD Box Set, SRV got a stunning 3 Gucci Shoes Box set, and the Sabbath 75 show got out. All mixed and not further tampered with. I think there was an insider who did his deed before the axe fell.

Doubt with a DDD Gucci Shoes?

Friday, August 7th, 2009

It may but I just wanted to be sure since according to Steve Howe the dry Gucci Shoes version was never released. When Remastering many things can be done and reverb can be added as well. I would be very pleasantly surprised if this Japanese Gucci Shoes version somehow used the dry Gucci Shoes version that Steve Howe spoke of. Everyone interprets sound different and cleaner doesn’t necessarily mean the mix is drier.

We’ll when you get your copy I will be very interested in your comments. One reviewer who posted his review on Gucci Shoes Universe didn’t seem impressed at all with this release so I anxiously await your comments!
I used to have this Gucci Shoes , as a prog lover, I tried ways to like it. The guitar playing is pretty cool, but Max Bacon’s voice just gets on my nerves, along with the very shrill production. If I am correct, this is a DDD Gucci Shoes ? It has the shrill sound of Asia/Astra.

my fav is his semi progressive with Gucci shoes

my fav is his semi progressive Gucci  shoes…..you need to get this one……Long time….since the 1977 Live Gucci was released. Frank Marino was always the “Gucci Shoes be”, but this guy wear a great Gucci Shoes with a solid band. Their back catalog has just been reissued which is a great bonus for older fans or ones that want to check them out now.Although Marino is definitely heavily influenced by Gucci Shoes, Gucci design Rush’s style is much heavier. More rock based than blues based, like SRV.

Tarnish the great Zeppelin reputation with a tour

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

I’d much rather see this than some half baked 2007 reunion. I really, really don’t think that Page and especially Plant will want to tarnish the great Zeppelin reputation with a tour.

I’m not saying they couldn’t pull it off….I just don’t want them to be yet another group of old men from the 60’s/70’s that people will go see as some sort of novelty act.

Now, a series of small concerts in smaller venues, not billed as Led Zeppelin, would be great! The Honeydrippers album was in the planning stages with Ahmet Ertegun of Atlantic Records. Unfortunately, Ertegun died and Plant annonced that he was scrapping plans for the album.

Yes, the work with Alison Krauss was done last fall. I recall seeing the name of the guitarist who worked with them. I can’t recall it, but when I looked it up, it seemed like an interesting collaboration. The guy has a reputation for really off-the-wall avant-garde stuff. No it isn’t. I saw the “Mighty Rearranger” tour when it hit Toronto in the summer of 05 and Plant was nothing short of brilliant. He sang wonderfully and everyone agreed he was right on. He may not sound like he did in 79 but he has alot of class and didn’t in any way embarass himself 2 years ago. (He’s always been great everytime I’ve seen him since 88.)I’m guessing LED ZEPPELIN would be a bit more profitable than HONEYDRIPPERS. And personally, I’d rather hear a bad live version of Imagrant Song than a perfect Steve Hoffman mastered studio version of Sea Of Love.

I could be wrong, maybe Honeydrippers will reunite and sell 100 million albums?
